Durham City Workers Deserve $5000 Bonus and Respect!

We, the undersigned, Durham city employees and residents, are concerned that the raise offered this year does not keep up with the rising cost-of-living. At the same time, many of our departments are understaffed. The vacant positions have created several million dollars on lapsed salary funds that should be available to us. Therefore, we are requesting the City make immediate measures to address our conditions by:

Immediate $5000 bonus
Pay workers for all work outside their job title, and
Hire all temporary workers permanent.
