We extend our revolutionary love and solidarity to all our sisters and brothers currently living in fear due to the racist, unlawful, and immoral actions of Border Patrol and ICE.
This week, our team has been on the ground across the Triangle standing with organizers, supporting immigrant families, and mobilizing volunteers to defend our neighbors’ civil rights.
We’re following the leadership of Siembra NC, Casa Azul de Wilson, Carolina Migrant Network, and our trusted partners to ensure we show up as strong, accountable allies in this moment of harm and uncertainty.
We stand firm in saying: ICE, Border Patrol, and surveillance tactics are NOT welcome in North Carolina, nor do they have any place in our communities. Their presence sows fear, tears families apart, and threatens the safety and dignity of people who deserve to live freely and without intimidation.
We’re proud of the powerful acts of resistance many North Carolinians have shown standing up to overt, brutal white supremacy; but this fight is far from over. We urge everyone to keep taking action:
- Support the organizations leading this work by donating or volunteering.
- Deliver essentials to families sheltering in place.
- Show up at protests.
- Use your privilege, platforms, and resources to protect our immigrant neighbors.
Below are statewide resources to help you stay informed and deepen your resistance. If you want to take action in Eastern North Carolina, reach out to our Chief Engagement and Education Officer, Amanda Williams, and we will connect you directly with our Latine partners.

We hope you join us in meeting this moment with unwavering solidarity as we work to protect one another and build the abundant, connected communities we all deserve.
In solidarity,
