The Queer Mobilization Fund supports incredible Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, People of Color (QTBIPOC) movement leaders to strengthen their projects and organizations for collective liberation and the transformation of power! We need your support to raise more funds to make sure we have enough resources to support incredible grassroots leaders, organizers, artists, and healing justice practitioners!
Why do we need your support?

In the wake of unprecedented political right-wing attacks on queer and trans people, as well as Black and Indigenous people and other People of Color, it is VITAL to support QTBIPOC organizers and organizations. As of September 2024, 530 anti-LGBTQIA+ bills have been introduced with over half of those bills directly impacting the Southeast. Further, political candidates are shamefully using LGBTQIA+ rights as a wedge issue with voters, perpetuating an environment of hostility and discrimination. The stakes have never been higher and we must ensure our QTBIPOC-led grassroots movements are fortified and nourished by being well-resourced.
Our QTBIPOC grantees are the foundations of our movements for collective liberation! Monthly donations allow QMF to create and mobilize resources, hire coaches that work THE BEST with our cohort(s) and build the support for more grants to be awarded. QMF intentionally supports groups often overlooked for funding to build power and support collective liberation from the grassroots up. In this moment of urgency in election season, we need YOUR help to hold steady in this fight against fascism and hope you will be right there with us by committing to a monthly gift! QMF has awarded $667,228 to over 100 QTBIPOC organizations to date, and we need your help to grow! In 2025, we hope to add another grant tier to offer a new $20,000 grant alongside our existing $5,000 and $10,000 grants.
Our 2024 sustainer campaign aims to raise $3,000 per month to support our incredibly deserving Queer and Trans BIPOC-led Southern grantees. We have until Friday, October 4 to meet this goal –- will YOU support queer organizing across the South by donating to QMF? We know that collective liberation doesn’t hinge on the two-party electoral system or election outcomes- we need to simultaneously put our efforts, faith, and resources into supporting QTBIPOC southern organizing!
