Return to the Source (RTS) is a Black-led organization rooted in the traditions of Black radicalism and collective liberation. We are dedicated to building collective power through political education, organizing, and capacity building. While our work is deeply rooted in organizing Black and working-class communities across Virginia, North Carolina, and the Gullah Geechee corridor, we are equally committed to fostering international solidarity with global movements fighting capitalism, imperialism, and exploitation. Through education, agitation, and direct action, we cultivate transformative movements that center Black liberation, preserve Black and Indigenous traditional wisdom, and advance a vision of self-determination and freedom that transcends borders.
